How to set up and configure companies tags? 🤔

  • Tags (or skills codes) are predefined values that you can 'tag' against different records throughout Vincere.

Are you looking for things like setting up Industry, Functional expertise, location, or Groups of tags? ➡️ YOU'RE IN THE RIGHT PLATE!

Click on the link ⏬ to proceed to the article you're interested in:

The Industries, Groups, Tags, and Locations tool allows you to configure your tags or skills codes, create your brands and teams, and update your company's office locations.

⭕ INDUSTRY

To configure Industries please follow the steps ⬇️

  1. First, simply head to Settings > Groups, Tags & Locations

You will be presented with a list of Industries and Functional Expertise.

If you are new to Vinny we have added a list of tags that you can use.

  • You can delete them all by selecting all the ie. Industry and hit the Delete button. You can then easily add, edit, and delete any of them and make them relevant to your business and your processes.

Once you have actioned to delete the default tags the action cannot be reverted.

How to add a new Industry or Functional expertise? 🤔

To add a new Industry or Functional expertise please follow the steps ⬇️

  1. Go to Settings > Groups, Tags & Locations.

  2. Click the 'Create New' button (top right on the screen).

  3. Add the name and + Add new for Sub Industry if needed then click on Save.

  4. Go to the Groups tab and click on the Brand name you want to add in, then click Add All to Industry and Functional Expertise to add everything, or select the Industry area box and add the new tags individually.

Please refer to the video below for visual guidance:

📋 Note: Sub-functional expertise and sub-industries can be added once you have created the Industry or Function.

📌 IMPORTANT NOTE

  • Make sure after you create new tags, to make it visible you must go to the Groups tab and click on the Brand name you want to add in, then Add them to the section that you wish to.

😉 Once this is done, you should be able to see the new industry and functional expertise you set up.

  • You can tag Companies, Contacts, and Candidates with as many industries as you like, and Jobs with one industry.

  • Contacts, Jobs, and Candidates can be tagged with as much functional and sub-functional expertise as you like.

When tagging Contact, Job, and Candidate records in Vincere, you have the flexibility to add any combination of industries and functional expertise.

  • For instance, you could tag a Candidate with the industries ‘biotechnology’ and ‘banking’ and the functional expertise ‘architecture’ and ‘design.’ While this might be an unusual combination, it showcases just how configurable Vincere is! 😊

⭕ GROUP

You can configure Vincere to match your company's structure.

This grouping goes well when you want to see your stats in the Intelligence Suite 📊

💡 PRO TIP: You can assign specific document builder templates (formatted CVs, TOBs, invoices) per brand!

⭕ LOCATION

These are your company’s office locations. It’s important to add these into the system and assign users to the correct location if you want to be able to view the Intelligence for a specific location.

Getting into the habit of tagging records correctly will make your data inside Vincere far more valuable – if your Companies, Contacts, Jobs, and Candidates are accurately tagged, you can run searches quickly and accurately.
