This article explains how to configure duplicate checks and form fields in Velocity so you can keep data entry consistent and reduce duplicate records when creating new records in Vincere.
📌 Note: Each user must configure these settings individually in their own system so the setup matches team or personal workflows.
On LinkedIn, duplicate checks are available from the form through Check for Duplicates after you enter the relevant profile information. Xing and GitHub continue to use the existing automated sourcing flow.
Configure Duplicate Checks and Form Fields
Configure Duplicate Checks
Open Velocity settings, then click Duplicate Method Check.
Choose the duplicate check logic that best fits your workflow.
On LinkedIn, enter the relevant profile information in the form, then click Check for Duplicates to review possible matches before you create a new record.
Configure Form Fields
In Duplicate Method Check, click Form Fields.
Review the fields available for new records, then decide which fields you want to show in the form.
Use the toggle on the right to enable or disable each field based on your workflow.
Set the fields you want to make mandatory so users complete the required information when adding a new record.
Complete fields such as Work Experience and Education in the structured sections of the LinkedIn form.
Enable Kana Name when you need to capture Japanese candidate names in the correct format.

Check your permissions in Vincere, then confirm you can access the relevant settings.
