This article explains how to connect Velocity after installation, confirm the connection, and open the LinkedIn form so you can create or update records in Vincere.
β Important: Due to LinkedIn updates, you must click the Velocity icon once after logging in to enable the Add button. This is a one-time step per session. If you clear your browser cache, you must complete this step again.
π Note: On LinkedIn, Velocity opens a form so you can manually enter profile information into the relevant fields.
Connect Your Browser Extension
Go to a LinkedIn profile, then click the Velocity extension in the top right of your browser.
Click Connect to Vincere.
On the login page, click AccessVincere.
Click Next on the Access login page.
Wait for the connection to complete. When the connection is successful, the tab closes automatically.
Return to the LinkedIn tab, then refresh the page.
Click the Velocity Chrome extension again to confirm your account connected successfully.
Open the Form on LinkedIn
Open Velocity on the LinkedIn profile page from the browser toolbar, or right-click anywhere on the page, then select Add to Vincere.
Review the form that opens, then enter the profile information into the relevant fields.
Use the form to create a new record or update an existing record.
π Note: If the page layout changes and the Velocity icon does not display correctly, use the right-click Add to Vincere option to launch Velocity.
Best Practices
Refresh the LinkedIn page after you connect your account so the extension loads correctly.
Click the Velocity icon once after logging in so the Add button becomes available for that session.
Use the right-click Add to Vincere option if the on-page icon does not appear as expected.
Repeat the connection step after you clear your browser cache.
