✨ Customise day types for Vincere x TimeTemp sync
We've introduced a new feature which allows users to configure the day type list (previously known as "periods") directly in Vincere. Users can now add or edit the day type options directly within Vincere by navigating to pay & bill settings.
This feature provides users with greater flexibility in defining day types that match their specific business requirements, which are then seamlessly synced to TimeTemp.
👉 What's Changed?
New section in Pay & Bill settings:
Day Type Configuration: We've added a new section in Pay & Bill Settings > Config Table to configure day type options. Users can add or edit day type items. Default system options cannot be deleted.
Default Day Types: By default, system day type options are: days (all days), Saturday, Sunday, Public Holiday, onsite and offsite - these options cannot be edited or deleted.
The newly configured day type options can be selected in various areas of Vincere, including:
Offer/Placements/Renewal
Shift Placements
Job Template Settings
Time Interpretation Templates Settings
Job Profile > P&B Settings
Quick Add Job > P&B Settings
TimeTemp sync: Once synced to TimeTemp, the day type options can be selected from the timesheet > day type dropdown within TimeTemp.
Inputting timesheets: When inputting the timesheet in TimeTemp, the options can be selected from the day type dropdown:
Note:
Users cannot delete or edit default day type options.
Custom day types cannot be deleted if they are in use in any job templates/jobs/placements.
Custom day types sync seamlessly with TimeTemp and are supported by the relevant Vincere APIs.
✨ Enhanced pay rules sync for daily timesheets
We’ve extended the current pay rules sync from Vincere to TimeTemp, which previously only applied to hourly time Intervals, to now include daily timesheets. This update enables syncing the time interpretation setup from Vincere placements to TimeTemp for placements with the time Interval set to daily.
In industries such as medical staffing, it's common for temps to work varying hours with different pay rates within a single day. To support this, we’ve introduced the ability to add multiple rows for different pay/overtime rates, ensuring more accurate payroll management.
👉 What's Changed?
Time Interpretation for daily timesheets:
Sync enhancements: Time interpretation pay rules for daily timesheets will now sync to TimeTemp. When a placement with time interval = Daily is sent, the corresponding setup will be synced to TimeTemp.
General Pay Rules Updates:
Field Renaming: The "Period" field is now renamed to "Day Type":
Simplified pay rule creation for daily placements: When adding a new pay rule, only three fields will be shown:
Pay Rule Name
Pay Code
Day Type
Mapping Rules:
Users can map 1 pay rule to multiple day types.
Users can only map 1 day type to 1 pay rule. A warning will be shown if multiple rules are selected for the same day type. This will not block the sync to TimeTemp but will alert the user
Payroll Flexibility:
Users can now add multiple rows for different pay/overtime rates within a single day, offering more granular control over payroll management.
Timesheet Input:
Users from TimeTemp can now add multiple entries for daily timesheet, each can link to a different day type:
Daily timesheet input can then be interpreted based on the pay rules set up. Similar to the hourly timesheet, users can find the detailed time interpretation under the pay rules section when viewing the timesheet on web:
Daily timesheet time interpretation also shown in the Timesheet PDF generated when the timesheet is approved:
This update enables increased accuracy with pay rate management, particularly in industries where multiple pay rates may apply within a single day.
✨ Upgrading the system default fonts
As part of our commitment to keeping things modern and user-friendly, we’ll be upgrading the default fonts across the platform.
What’s Changing?
We’re moving away from the old fonts and introducing new, clean, and contemporary fonts that will enhance readability and give your emails and documents a refreshed look.
What this means for you:
Better Readability: The new fonts are designed to be clearer and more legible across devices including mobile-friendly.
Modern Design: A cleaner, more polished appearance that aligns with today’s design standards.
No Action Needed: This update will happen automatically, so you don’t need to do anything on your end. The old font will automatically be upgraded to the new associated font e.g. Arial becomes Roboto as below.
You can view the new fonts below:
We believe these changes will make navigating our platform even more seamless and enjoyable. As always, our goal is to ensure you have the best possible experience using Vincere. If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to reach out to us.
✨ Brand segmentation for emails and document builder
Admin users can now seamlessly create multiple versions of emails and documents across different brands in Vincere including logos, format and messaging.
👉 What's Changed?
To create branded versions of emails, admin users can simply navigate to settings > email templates and select the desired brand from the dropdown menu. This then allows the user to customise the associated templates for that brand.
Users working across multiple brands can then choose the relevant brand and template when sending emails to candidates or clients
These changes also apply to document builder. Admins can create multiple versions of documents for multiple brands which then appear for users when sending documents to candidates or clients
Note
All system-generated emails (internal notifications, reminders, notices etc) will not follow brand segmentation rules. Brand segmentation is only available for manually composed external emails.
The users primary brand will be the default for loading email/doc template each time the user opens the composer dialog. A different brand can then be selected by the user from the dropdown if required.
✨ Candidate/Contact birthdays are now included in the calendar/planner
You can now view and track candidate & contacts birthdays directly in the Vincere calendar/planner. Stay on top of key milestones and enhance candidate-client engagement with personalised outreach on their special day 🥳
