TimeTemp Updates:

You can now require multi-factor authentication (MFA) for Candidates and Managers/Approvers, helping to protect their TimeTemp accounts.

This feature is available on request.

👉 What's New

Access Identity is our sign-in service that provides MFA and single sign-on across Access products.

Access Identity is being rolled out to TimeTemp tenants in batches.

Until it's enabled for your Vincere-TimeTemp account, your Candidate and/or Manager/Approver user accounts won't change.

This feature is available on request. To enable it for your TimeTemp site, please contact your Customer Success Manager or Account Manager.

Once it's enabled, your Candidates/Employees and/or Manager/Approver can use the following in TimeTemp:

  • MFA requirements for recruitment agencies: Recruitment agencies can choose to make MFA as optional or mandatory for Candidates/Employees and/or Manager/Approver.

  • MFA setup: Once the Candidate and/or Manager/Approver accounts has been moved to Access Identity, they can set up MFA for their TimeTemp account.

  • Welcome emails for new accounts: New accounts on TimeTemp (Candidate and/or Manager/Approver) created after the feature has been enabled on your Vincere-TimeTemp site, receives a welcome email with an Activate button, which opens the Access Identity page where they can set your password.

⚙️ For recruitment agency admins: Setting the MFA as mandatory for all TimeTemp user account

For recruitment agency admins:

The MFA only applies if the Candidate and/or Manager/Approver accounts has been moved to Access Identity.

Until the feature is enabled for your Vincere-TimeTemp account, your Candidate and/or Manager/Approver user accounts won't change.

As a recruiter admin, you will see the Identity Provider status of every user by going to:

  1. Management tab on the left menu

  2. Click on Users tab

  3. Look for the column “Identity Provider”

  • Vincere: the User account has not been moved to Access Identity

How to set the MFA as optional or mandatory for your Candidate and/or Manager/Approver accounts

MFA requirements are set in Configuration > General Settings, under Require Multi-Factor Authentication.

Optional MFA

This setting is making MFA as “optional” only for Candidates and/or Managers/Approvers.

The Candidate and/or Managers/Approvers will see this message prompt, where they can dismiss it and complete MFA setup later.

If the User has clicked on “Remind me Later”, this message prompt will be displayed again on their next login to TimeTemp.

Mandatory MFA

The setting “Force MFA setup..” is making MFA as mandatory for Candidates and/or Managers/Approvers.

The Candidate and/or Managers/Approvers must complete the MFA setup immediately and will not be able to dismiss the prompt message.
