✨ Create New Projects on Mobile

Employees can now create projects directly within the mobile app, eliminating the need to switch to the Web App or wait for administrator assistance.

👉 What's New

Two Ways to Create Projects

Option 1: From Project Listing Page

  • Navigate via: Dashboard → Select Job → Sidebar (Job Tools → Projects) OR Dashboard (Project folder)

  • Tap the (+) button to create a new project

  • New project appears at the top of the list with zero minutes initially

Option 2: From Timesheet Workflow

  • Create timesheet → Log shift date → Navigate to Project tab → Tap Project Log

  • Tap "Create New Project" button in the top right

  • After creation, the system automatically returns to Project Log with your new project selected

  • Enter hours and save in one continuous process

Simple Project Creation Form

  • Company field is auto-populated based on your job

  • Required fields: Project name, Project status

  • Optional fields: Budget hours, Start date, End date

Real-Time Updates

  • Newly created projects are immediately available in timesheets

  • Submitted time updates based on hours logged in submitted timesheets

  • Total time worked combines submitted and approved minutes

  • Last working day updates to latest shift date with logged hours

✨ View, Filter, and Export Project Time Details on Mobile

Review all logged hours for any project directly from the mobile app, with comprehensive filtering and export capabilities.

View Project Time Entries

  • Access from Project Listing page → Select project → Project Details page → Details tab

  • Each time entry displays: Shift date, Time worked, Associated weblink, Comments

Flexible Filtering

  • Default view: Last 7 days

  • Additional options: Last 30 days, Last year, Last calendar month, Last calendar year

  • Focus on relevant reporting periods with one tap

Export to PDF

  • Generate and share project reports directly from your mobile device

  • Export based on current filter selection

  • Send via email by entering one or more recipient email addresses

  • Reports contain exactly the data visible on screen

Review hours before submission to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Generate client reports while in the field without returning to the office.

Share project progress with managers or stakeholders instantly from your mobile device.


✨ Edit Project Details on Mobile

Project modification capabilities are now fully available on mobile, eliminating the need to switch to the Web App for project updates.

Edit Access

  • Navigate: Project Listing page → Select project → Project Details page → Tap "Edit Project"

  • Details tab opens by default with all editable fields

Update Project Information

  • Edit project name, status, budget hours, start date, and end date

  • Company field remains auto-populated to maintain organizational association

  • Tap Save to apply changes immediately

  • Updates synchronize across the system in real-time

💡 Why It Matters

Make real-time updates during client meetings or while in the field.

Adjust project timelines and budgets based on scope changes without desktop access.

Keep project information accurate with immediate updates that sync across all platforms.


✨ Set Up Automatic Project Reports on Mobile

Configure recurring project reports directly from the mobile app—automation capabilities are now available on the go.

Configure Automated Reports

  • Navigate: Project Details page → Tap "Edit Project" → Switch to Report tab

  • Toggle automatic reporting on to begin configuration

Flexible Scheduling Options

  • Choose report frequency: Weekly, Bi-weekly, or Monthly

  • Select which day reports should be sent

  • Add one or more email recipients

Automatic Delivery

  • Each automated report delivered as PDF attachment via email

  • Reports sent to all selected recipients

  • Contains detailed information about all shift days with logged hours during the selected period

Eliminate manual report generation—set it up once and reports send automatically.

Ensure consistent reporting for clients and stakeholders without manual intervention.

Save time by automating weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly project summaries.


✨ Edit Submitted Timesheets (Approver Capability - Web Only/TT Standalone only)

Approvers can now directly edit submitted timesheets on the Web App, eliminating the need to reject timesheets for minor corrections and streamlining the approval workflow.

Direct Editing for Approvers

  • Approvers can now make corrections directly to submitted timesheets

  • Immediate approval possible after corrections

  • No need to reject, wait for employee corrections, and review resubmissions

Comprehensive Edit Capabilities

Shift Day Management:

  • Create or remove shift days

  • Modify day types and adjust break hours

  • Add comments to individual shift days

  • Copy shift information from one day to another

Time Entry Options (based on placement configuration):

  • Update start and end times for hourly input

  • Select full day or half day options with decimal input support for daily placements

  • Select number of work days per week and input pay rate for total hours tracking

Project Hours:

  • Manage and adjust project hours as needed

Document Management:

  • Remove existing documents or add new documents to timesheet

Expense Report Management (if enabled):

  • Create new expense reports linked to timesheet

  • Modify report names and expense types

  • Add or remove claims and allowances

Email Notifications

  • Employees receive email notifications when their timesheet is edited (if notifications are enabled in their account settings)

Full Audit Trail

  • Every action captured in activity log with timestamp and user information

  • Tracked actions include editing shift days, removing shift days, creating project entries, adding comments, and managing documents

⚙️ How to Enable

For Tenant Administrators:

General Settings > “Edit Submitted Timesheet” section > Enable the toggle

Once enabled, all approvers within your organization have access to this feature.

💡 Why It Matters

Faster approval process—correct minor errors immediately instead of waiting 2-3 working days for resubmission.

Timely payroll processing—eliminate delays caused by rejection and resubmission cycles.

Improved efficiency for approvers managing multiple timesheets during time-sensitive periods.

Important Note

This feature is currently available on the Web App only. Once changes are saved, there is no undo function or ability to revert to the previous version. A Cancel button is available any time before saving to return the timesheet to its original state.
This feature is only available for those using TimeTemp standalone app – if you are using TimeTemp with Fasttrack360 this same improvement will come later this year.
