Candidates can now subscribe to Job Alerts directly from the Job Portal or Job listing pages.

Note: The new Job Alert banner feature is disabled on your account, please head to the Customizer to enable the feature.

1/ When a Candidate is not logged in to the Candidate Portal or when the Candidate Portal is disabled:

Once the Candidate enters a search keyword, the Job Alert button will light up and become clickable

When a Candidate clicks on the Job Alert button, the page will automatically scroll down to the new Job Alert banner at the bottom of the Job Listing page.

The Candidate can enter their email address and choose the frequency of Job Alert emails sent to them.

Notifications for candidates:

  1. The Candidate will receive the Subscription email notification with the details of their Job Alert criteria.

  2. If a newly posted job matches the Candidate’s search keyword, the job will be sent in the Job Alert email on the frequency that the Candidate has selected.

  3. If the Candidate has access to the Candidate Portal in the future, they will see the submitted Job Alerts in the Job Alert table (if the Job Portal is enabled).

2/ When a Candidate is logged in to Candidate Portal (Candidate Portal is enabled)

The Candidate can use either the Job Alert button (next to the Job Search button) or the Subscribe button on the Job Alert banner to subscribe to Job Alerts.

On the Job Alert banner, the Email field will be automatically filled with the logged-in email address.

Where can the candidate access their Job Alerts?

When Candidate logs in to the Candidate Portal, they will see all the Job Alert criteria in the Job Alerts table.

If a newly posted job matches the Candidate’s search keyword, the job will be sent in the Job Alert email on the frequency that the Candidate has selected, and the job will appear in the Job Alert table in the Candidate Portal.
