  4. Notify Workers (Optional): If workers were assigned, you can choose to send an email notification so they're aware of the change.

Deleted shifts will disappear from the scheduler, keeping your view clean and up-to-date.

🌍 Timezone & DST Support

Smarter Timezone Management

Vincere Shift Scheduler can reflect the local timezone of each job:

  • Timezones are automatically applied when:

    • Adding/editing a shift.

    • Using Quick Add Job.

    • Viewing shifts (Day, Week, Month, or 1-1 views).

This helps reduce scheduling errors across regions.

Daylight Saving Time (DST) Handling

Shifts now automatically adjust when crossing DST periods.

Example:

A shift in London (UTC+0), scheduled from Mar 28 – Apr 6, will display as:

  • 09:00–18:00 in London (after DST kicks in)

  • 08:00–17:00 in non-DST timezones.

This keeps timing aligned with local working hours, no matter the viewer's location.

✅ Why This Matters

  • Ensures shift start/end times are accurate.

  • Reduces timezone-based scheduling errors.

  • Keeps recruiters and candidates aligned.

🔜 Coming Soon: Shift View Toggle

Currently, shifts display based on your timezone.
An upcoming enhancement (targeted for April) will let you toggle between viewing shifts by:

  • Your timezone.

  • The shift’s local timezone.

This added flexibility will help you manage shifts even more precisely.

🎯 Wrapping Up

By following these steps and updates, you'll be able to:

  • Make quick edits to shifts.

  • Cancel without confusion.

  • Delete when needed.

  • Schedule smarter with timezone-aware views.

👉 By mastering these simple steps, you can keep your shift schedules running smoothly, ensuring both efficiency and clarity for your team.

Happy scheduling! #TheVinnyWay🤩
