👉 What’s New?
Building on the Audit Log feature introduced in July 2024 (v24.3.1), we’ve now expanded logging to cover:
User Role Updates: When a user's role is changed in User Management, the audit trail will now capture any impact to their Team assignment.
Primary Team Deletions: If a Team marked as Primary for a user is deleted, this action will now also be logged.
What You Can See:

✨ New: Candidate Consent Settings for Volcanic Job Board
We’ve made it easier for recruiters to manage candidate consent and right to represent preferences, automatically and in line with your GDPR settings in Vincere.
👉 What’s New?
A new “Consent” settings section has been added to the Volcanic integration settings in the Marketplace. This allows you to set default values for:
Consent to Keep
Default: Consent Given
Duration: Pulled from your existing GDPR Consent Management settingsRight to Represent
Default: Must Request
Duration: Also managed via GDPR settings
These defaults will automatically apply when a candidate applies or registers via a Volcanic-powered job board.
🔍 How It Works:
New Candidates: If no consent status exists, the Marketplace default will be applied.
Existing Candidates (No Consent): The default settings will update their consent status.
Existing Candidates (Consent Given): Their existing consent will remain unchanged, regardless of default values.
Duration: is pulled from Admin Settings > GDPR | Data Privacy > GDPR | Consent Management:
Why This Matters:
Automate compliance with GDPR and internal data policies
Reduce manual effort and errors when tracking consent
Maintain a consistent candidate experience across your job boards (powered by Volcanic)
✨ Custom Date Formats are now reflected in Shift Schedule emails
We’ve made a small but impactful update to shift scheduling emails - dates will now appear in the format that’s most familiar to you and your candidates.
👉 What’s New?
When sending a shift schedule email using the #ShiftSchedule# wildcard:
The date format shown in the email will now match the User’s Date Format setting (found in User Settings > Date Format).
This applies to both senders and recipients—ensuring consistency and clarity for all users.
How It Works:
Candidates will see shift dates in the format set by the user who sent the email.
Users receiving a copy (e.g. CC or internal recipients) will see dates in the format they’ve configured in their own User Settings.
Why This Matters:
Improves readability and reduces confusion across international teams
Ensures date consistency across all communications
Enhances candidate experience with more intuitive, localised shift times
✨ Enhanced Contact Details when moving to a new Company
We’ve improved the contact move process to give you more confidence and clarity when transferring a contact to a different company.
👉 What’s New?
When moving a Contact to a new Company, you’ll now see:
Contact’s Email Address
Job Title
This is in addition to the contact’s name, making it easier to confirm you’ve got the right person before completing the move.
Why It Matters:
Fewer errors: Avoid accidental moves caused by contacts with similar names.
Faster workflows: Instantly verify the correct contact without needing to double-check elsewhere.
Improved UX: More complete information right where you need it.
✨ Booked Fees Now Reflect Approved Credit Invoices for Retained Placements
We’ve enhanced the way Booked Fees are calculated for Retained Placements, ensuring they reflect the true invoiced amount - even when credit invoices are applied.
👉 What’s New?
When a credit invoice is approved against an existing sales invoice in a Retained Placement:
The Booked Fee will now be automatically updated to deduct the credited amount.
This gives you a more accurate financial picture of the placement value.
Why It Matters:
Ensures Booked Fees align with actual invoice values
Improves financial reporting accuracy
Reduces the need for manual adjustments or reconciliations
✨ LiveList Update: Control the Default for “Send with Attachments”
We’ve enhanced the LiveList email settings to give admins more control over how candidate documents are shared by default.
👉 What’s New?
Previously, the “Send with Attachments” option was always set to Yes by default when sending LiveList emails. With this update:
Admins can now configure whether attachments should be included by default or not.
This setting is found in Admin Settings > General Settings > LiveList Settings.
How It Works:
The admin-defined setting will apply globally to all users when sending LiveList emails.
Users can still override this setting per email if needed.
When the setting is turned off, attachments won’t be included in the email, prompting clients to access CVs and files via the LiveList link.
This default setting will affect all relevant send actions across:
ATS bulk actions: Send, Float to Contact, Float to Distribution List
ATS stages: Application, Shortlist, Sent > Send CV to Client
Candidate profile > Action > Send
Advanced Search > Candidate > Action > Send
Why It Matters:
Encourages secure, centralised access to candidate data via the Livelist
Reduces email clutter for clients by eliminating unnecessary attachments
Empowers Admins to set a consistent experience across teams
Note: For all existing and new customers, the default is set to ON (attachments included) until updated by an admin user.
✨ Shift Timezone View Filter for Greater Clarity Across Regions
Managing shifts across different regions just got a whole lot easier.
👉 What’s New?
We’ve introduced a new “View Shift in” (your timezone/Shift's timezone) filter across all shift views (Day, Week, Month, and 1-1 Table View) that lets you choose how shift times are displayed:
Your Timezone (default): Shifts are shown according to the logged-in user's timezone.
Shift's Timezone: Shifts appear in their originally scheduled timezone.
Where You’ll See It:
Shift Scheduler > Day View
Shift Scheduler > Week View
Shift Scheduler > Month View
Shift Scheduler > 1-1 Table View
How It Works:
Example:
A shift is created in UTC -01:00 from 04:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Your login timezone is UTC +00:00
Filter Option | What You’ll See |
Your Timezone | 05:00 AM – 11:00 AM |
Shift’s Timezone | 04:00 AM – 10:00 AM |
Why It Matters:
Easier scheduling across global teams
Accurate visibility of shift times, no matter where you're based
Less confusion when collaborating across time zones
✨ Accurate Timezone Offset Labels in Shift Scheduler
We’ve made it easier to manage shifts across timezones that observe Daylight Saving Time (DST)—no more second-guessing!
👉 What’s New?
Timezone offsets now dynamically adjust based on the start date and time of a shift, so you're always seeing the correct offset, especially in locations where DST is in effect.
Where You’ll See It:
When adding/editing a shift in the scheduler
When viewing shifts in the Shift Table view
Example
A shift in London on March 28 (before DST starts):
→ Timezone shows as UTC+0A shift in London on April 1 (after DST starts):
→ Timezone shows as UTC+1Viewing a shift on different days will reflect the accurate timezone for that specific date.
Why It Matters:
No more confusion around timezone changes during DST
Improved scheduling accuracy for global teams
Better transparency when managing shift timing across multiple regions
Note
This enhancement currently applies only to Shift Scheduler.
Other areas like meetings and interviews are not yet updated.
Shift emails still use the existing static format and won’t reflect the dynamic offset - this will be upgraded next.
