✨ Shift Schedule wildcards – timezone support updates
You can now automatically display shift times in each candidate’s local timezone, including accurate adjustments for Daylight Saving Time (DST), when sending shift schedules by email using the #ShiftSchedule#
wildcard.
👉 What's New
When sending emails using the #ShiftSchedule#
wildcard, the shift details will be displayed with:
Automatic Timezone Conversion
Shift times will now be shown in the candidate’s local timezone even if the original shift was created in a different timezone, depending on which template is used:
DST-Aware Scheduling
For regions that observe Daylight Saving Time (like UK), the system will now adjust shift times based on whether DST is in effect. If a schedule spans a DST change, it will be clearly shown to the candidate in the email.Timezone Labels for Transparency
Shift times in emails now include the timezone abbreviation next to the time so candidates know exactly when to show up, no manual conversion needed.
💡 Why It Matters
This update makes life easier for agencies and candidates alike, especially when managing rosters across multiple locations or timezones:
Fewer errors and misunderstandings about start times, especially during DST transitions.
Improved candidate experience, with shift details shown in their local time.
Less manual work for recruiters coordinating shifts globally, no more copy/pasting or recalculating time differences.
