The Quick Place action lets you progress a candidate straight to the placement stage without shortlisting them to a job first. This is especially useful in fast-paced contract and temp markets where speed is critical β for example, when a client needs a candidate to start a role immediately, without an interview stage.
Place a Candidate Directly into a Role
From the Candidate Table View
Go to the Candidates table view, then select the candidate you want to place.
Click Place, then search for and select the relevant job.
Click Done.
π Note: The following jobs will not appear in the search results:
Jobs where the candidate has an active exclusion.
Jobs linked to non-compliant companies.
Jobs where the placement has been terminated or cancelled.
From the Job Table View
Go to the Jobs table view, then select the job you want to fill.
Click Place, then search for and select the candidate you want to place.
Click Done.
π Note: The following candidates will not appear in the search results:
Candidates with an active exclusion on the job.
Candidates whose placement has been terminated or cancelled.
Finalise the Placement
After completing the Quick Place action, the placement details page opens automatically.
Review and complete all required fields on the placement details page.
Once all information is correct, click the Actions dropdown, then select Placed Stage to move the candidate forward.
β οΈ Important: Make sure all placement information is accurate before moving to the Placed Stage, as this progresses the candidate's record in the system.
Best Practices
Use Quick Place for contract and temp roles where speed is the priority and an interview stage is not required.
Always review the placement details page carefully before confirming the Placed Stage to avoid errors in the candidate's record.
If a job or candidate does not appear in the search, check whether an exclusion, non-compliance flag, or terminated placement is blocking the result.
