Configure the Candidate Summary

Set up and customize the Candidate Summary by arranging, adding, or removing fields to match your organization’s data needs.

Use this feature to organize candidate information, display key data, and create custom tabs for improved visibility and workflow efficiency. This guide also covers configuring fields in the Candidate New UI to enhance usability.

Access the Candidate Summary Settings

  1. Go to Settings, then click Field Configuration.

  2. Select Candidate Summary, and then click Custom Fields to open the configuration area.

📌 Note: The Custom Fields section allows you to manage both system-defined and user-created fields.

Add or Arrange Fields

  1. From the toolbox, drag and drop new or existing fields onto the Candidate Summary layout.

  2. Rearrange fields by dragging them into your preferred order or location on the page.

  3. (Optional) Create new tabs to group related fields and streamline data presentation.

  4. Click Save to apply all changes.

🤓 Tip: Use tabs to separate key sections such as “Personal Details,” “Experience,” or “Compliance Information.”

Add or Arrange Fields in the Candidate New UI

In the Candidate New UI, you can reorder most fields within their designated tab or category. However, some fields are hard-coded and cannot be moved. For example:

  • Candidate Brief and Email Subscription are always positioned above other fields.

  • If you attempt to place another field (e.g., Compliance Note) above these hard-coded fields, the layout will revert to its default order. While you can remove hard-coded fields from the profile, their positions cannot be changed.

Remove Fields

  1. Navigate to Settings → Field Configuration → Candidate Fields → Candidate Summary.

  2. Locate the field you want to remove and click the X icon in the top-right corner of the field.

  3. Click Save to confirm your changes.

📌 Note: The field will be removed from all records of that type across your database. Fields required for Placement records cannot be disabled via Field Configuration.

Best Practices

  • Review your Candidate Summary layout quarterly to ensure it supports your current recruitment process.

  • Keep essential fields visible to improve recruiter productivity.

  • Use clear and consistent field labels for easier navigation.

  • Be aware that some fields (e.g., Candidate Brief, Email Subscription) are hard-coded and cannot be repositioned in the Candidate New UI.

  • Fields can only be reordered within their designated tab or category — cross-tab movement is not supported.
