Use Saved Searches to reuse common search criteria, share useful searches with other users, and maintain searches for activities such as talent pooling and data cleanup.
Save a Search
Go to Advanced Search, then select Candidates, Contacts, Companies, Jobs, or Applications.
Use Field Search to define your search criteria. Use the default fields or start typing in Other Fields, then select the relevant field from the list.
Switch to Boolean Search if you need more advanced filtering.
Click Save Search in the bottom-left corner, then enter a name for the saved search.
Select Private if only you should have access to the saved search, or select Public if all users in your system should have access.
You can create multiple saved searches. To access them later, go to Advanced Search, then Saved Searches.
đ Note: For more information about creating searches, see Use Advanced Search.
Share a Saved Search
You can make a saved search available to other users by changing its sharing setting.
When saving a search, select Public to make it available to all users in your system.
To review an existing saved search, go to Advanced Search, then Saved Searches.
Review the owner of the search and use the available action to change its sharing permission.
â ď¸ Important: Only the search owner can delete a saved search or change its sharing permission. You cannot delete a saved search owned by another user.
Best Practices
Saved Searches can help you quickly return to commonly used groups of records.
Create a Talent Pool Using Keywords and Radius
You can save a search that combines talent pool criteria, keywords, and location.
For example, you could create a search for top project managers in Sydney and use the results to identify candidates within a specific location.
Find Incomplete Records
You can create a Saved Search to identify incomplete records. This can support data cleanup and record maintenance.
FAQs
Q1: How Can I Export a List of Saved Searches?
There is currently no built-in option to export a list of Saved Searches or their associated information, such as names, owners, or permissions.
As a workaround:
Go to Advanced Search, then Saved Searches.
Select the on-screen list of saved searches, click on Load.
Copy the selected information, then paste it into a spreadsheet application.
This allows you to keep a separate record of your Saved Searches.
Q2: How Can I Delete a Saved Search Owned by Another User?
You cannot delete a saved search owned by another user.
If you have access to the user's account, log in to that account and delete the saved search directly.
If the user has been deactivated, you must reactivate their account before deleting the saved search.
A System Administrator cannot reassign ownership of a saved search or delete a saved search if they are not the original owner.
The Support Team cannot delete Saved Searches for a deactivated user unless the work is provided as a paid service by the Backend Team.
If you need any further support on this, please reach out to our Support Team.
