Different ways to share a document on your site

There are different ways to share a document on your site.

1/ Link documents to grids using Grid View widget

You can link documents to Grids. Visitors will be able to download the documents by clicking on the Grids.

  1. Go to the area that you want to add Grids

  2. Click Widgets

  3. Click the + icon to add a new widget

  4. Choose Grid View

  5. Toggle on Allow Link

  6. In the Content settings, navigate to Link.

  7. Click on the blue upload icon to upload a file

  8. Click Upload to add a new file from your computer.

  9. If the File has been uploaded previously, you will see it in the Choose File window

  10. Check the box to select a file to add to your widget

  11. Select Choose (bottom right) to add the link to the content

  12. The Link will be populated with the URL of the file

NOTE: To copy the File URL, click on the clipboard icon

2/ Link a document to a button using Button widget

Visitors can download a document from your site in one click.

  1. Go to the area that you want to add a button

  2. Click Widgets

  3. Click the + icon to add a new widget

  4. Choose Button

  5. Click Settings

  6. Navigate to the Button URL field.

  7. Click on the blue upload icon to upload a file

  8. Click Upload to add a new file from your computer.

  9. If the File has been uploaded previously, you will see it in the Choose File window

  10. Check the box to select a file to add to your widget

  11. Select Choose (bottom right) to add the link to the content

  12. The Link will be populated with the URL of the file

NOTE: To copy the File URL, click on the clipboard icon

3/ Link a document to an image using Image widget:

You can link a document to an image. Visitors will be able to download the document by clicking on the image.

  1. Go to the area that you want to add a button

  2. Click Widgets

  3. Click the + icon to add a new widget

  4. Choose Image

  5. Navigate to Link to URL

  6. Navigate to the Link to URL field.

  7. Click on the blue upload icon to upload a file

  8. Click Upload to add a new file from your computer.

  9. If the File has been uploaded previously, you will see it in the Choose File window

  10. Check the box to select a file to add to your widget

  11. Select Choose (bottom right) to add the link to the content

  12. The Link will be populated with the URL of the file

NOTE: To copy the File URL, click on the clipboard icon

4/ Link documents to a Contact Form using Contact Form widget:

You can link documents to a Contact Form. Visitors will be able to download the documents after submitting the form.

  1. Go to the area that you want to add Grids

  2. Click Widgets

  3. Click the + icon to add a new widget

  4. Choose Contact Form

  5. Toggle on Link to Files

  6. Put in the message you want to show to visitors with the documents

  7. Click in the first content box to open the File Uploader.

  8. Click Upload File to add a new file from your computer.

  9. Or click Local File to choose from the uploaded Files in your File Library.

  10. Check the box to select a file to add to your widget

  11. Select Choose (bottom right) to add the link to the content

  12. Add a File Name.

  13. To add a new document, click the + icon and repeat step 8 or steps 9-11.

NOTE: To copy the File URL, click on the clipboard icon

5/ Showing documents using Files widget

You can display documents directly on your site using the Files widget.

  1. Go to the area that you want to upload documents

  2. Click Widgets

  3. Click the + icon to add a new widget

  4. Click Files

  5. In the Contents setting, click Upload File to add a file from your computer. To choose from previously uploaded files, click Local File

  6. Choose the file from your computer

  7. Add File Name.

  8. To add a new document, click the + Add Item button and repeat 5 - 7.

NOTE: To copy the File URL, click on the clipboard icon
