All About LogicMelon in Vincere

⭕ What is LogicMelon and How Does it Help?

LogicMelon is a recruitment software platform designed to streamline the hiring process for businesses of all sizes. It offers a suite of tools and features to help organizations attract, manage, and hire top talent efficiently.

⭕ How to Set Up LogicMelon?

To set up LogicMelon, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Settings, and click on Marketplace.

  2. Look for LogicMelon and click on it, then head to the Setup Tab.

  3. Turn the Enable LogicMelon button on.

  4. Enter the following mandatory details:

    • LogicMelon Master User.

    • Logic Melon Security Key.

    • Region.

  5. Once done, click on Save.

When you click into LogicMelon you will see a widget include:

Information:

  • Post directly to 2000+ job boards worldwide from Vincere.

  • Candidates are redirected to Vincere and shortlisted against the job.

Setup:

  • Turn the Enable LogicMelon button on.

  • Enter the following mandatory details:

    • LogicMelon Master User.

    • Logic Melon Security Key.

    • Region.

Retrieve Applications Settings:

After setting up the account, change your 'Retrieve Applications Settings'.

  • You can choose how your Candidate Owner Behavior for Retrieving Applications and how you want candidates to be pulled into Vincere from LogicMelon:

1. Candidate Owner Behavior for Retrieving Applications

  • Keep the Candidate Owner on the initial candidate application

  • Update the Candidate Owner per the candidate application

2. Select desired options to retrieve applications

  • Disable Retrieve Applications: No applicants will be pulled into Vincere; they will stay in LogicMelon.

  • Enable Retrieve Applications – Retrieve All – Add to Application stage

  • Enable Retrieve Applications > Retrieve All > Shortlist to Job: All applicants will be shortlisted for the job in Vincere.

  • Enable Retrieve Applications > Flagging Response Management: Use LogicMelon's flagging system to define which applicants are pulled into Vincere.

Decide the action for flagged candidates in LogicMelon:

  • Do not retrieve.

  • Add to database.

  • Shortlist to job.

Once done, click on Save.

⭕ How to Post a Job to LogicMelon?

Follow the steps below to post a job to LogicMelon.

  1. Go to the Job you’d like to post using LogicMelon.

  2. Click on Actions, and click Post.

  3. Switch the Job privacy status to Public, then you should see the LogicMelon option.

  4. Click on Post, and follow the in-app steps.

  5. Select the job board and fill out the details (Vincere pulls in job information, but you can edit and update as needed).

  6. Confirm details & Awaiting delivery.

  7. Click ‘Finish’ to post your job.

⭕ How to Unpost a Job from LogicMelon?

Unposting a job from LogicMelon can be done manually or happens automatically based on certain conditions. Here’s everything you need to know.

How to Manually Unpost a Job?

To unpost a job directly:

  1. Open the job you want to remove.

  2. Go to the LogicMelon tab, click on Job Posting.

  3. Select Unpost.

Alternatively, you can set the job to Private, which also removes it from LogicMelon.

Automatic Unposting Rules

The system will automatically unpost a job from LogicMelon when:

  • You set the job to Private.

  • You unpost it from the LogicMelon tab.

  • The Sourcing close date is in the past (or if you update it to a past date).

🚫 When a Job Will Not Be Unposted

A job will remain posted on LogicMelon if:

  • You manually close the job.

  • The job’s headcount is fulfilled.

📝 Notes

  • Only the user who originally posted the job can unpost it.

  • The unposting action may take a few hours to take effect.

⭕ Who Can See the LogicMelon Tab?

Only the user who posted the job will be able to see the LogicMelon tab in the Job's profile. Administrators will not see the LogicMelon tab unless they posted the job themselves.

📌 Important Note:

  • Flagging Candidates: To use Vincere's flagging, you must flag the candidates inside Vincere, not in LogicMelon. Flagging in LogicMelon will not reflect in Vincere.
