Vincere's field configuration tool allows you to create and customise fields for Candidate, Contact, Job, Company, and Placement records. This flexibility ensures you can capture and store specific information that isn't covered by Vincere's default fields.
â
Custom fields are perfect for storing unique information. For instance, if you recruit for an industry with specific compliance requirements, you can record whether a candidate meets those requirements using custom fields, or track the time elapsed since a candidate obtained a professional qualification.
đ¤Tip: Custom fields are fully searchable using both Boolean and Advanced Search, helping you avoid shortlisting the wrong candidates or adding them to incorrect mailing lists.

For Dropdown list field types, you can also reorder custom field values:

Delete custom fields
To delete a custom field, go to the Field Configuration section and select the field you want to remove. The icon in the Action column indicates whether the field can be deleted immediately:
Red X icon: The field can be deleted directly.
Grey X icon: The field is currently used in specific records. Hover over the X to see where it is being used. You will need to remove the field from those records before you can delete it.
â ď¸Important: Deleting a custom field will permanently remove it from all records. This action cannot be undone.
