Bulk Sending Email via SendGrid

Learn how to use the SendGrid integration in Vincere to send bulk emails to candidates and contacts, including setup, sending steps, and troubleshooting.

Written by Jason Tu

Vincere's SendGrid integration lets you send high-volume bulk emails to candidates and contacts directly from Vincere. Emails sent via SendGrid appear in a dedicated SendGrid tab in your Vincere email screen, keeping them separate from your regular inbox.

⚠️ Important: Make sure all recipients have a valid email address and are subscribed to receive bulk emails. Sending to unsubscribed or invalid addresses can result in delivery failures and a high bounce rate.

Prerequisites

  • A SendGrid account connected to Vincere.

  • A primary brand assigned to your user account in Vincere (required for SendGrid sends — see Troubleshooting below).

  • Recipients must be subscribed to receive bulk emails.

Sending Bulk Emails via SendGrid

  1. Go to the Candidates or Contacts table view and select the checkboxes next to the recipients you want to email.

  2. Click Actions, then select Email.

  3. In the email composer, select your SendGrid template or compose your message.

  4. Click Send. The email will be dispatched via SendGrid.

🤓 Tip: You can select up to 100 recipients at a time from the table view. For larger sends, use Advanced Search to filter your audience and select recipients in batches.

Viewing SendGrid Emails in Vincere

Emails sent via SendGrid are stored in a dedicated SendGrid tab within the Vincere email screen. To access it:

  1. Click the email icon in the left-hand navigation panel to open the Vincere Email screen.

  2. Select the SendGrid tab to see all emails sent through the integration.

Troubleshooting

Bulk emails are not sending or are failing

SendGrid bulk email errors can occur due to a missing primary brand on your user account. To resolve this:

  1. Go to Settings, then click on User Management.

  2. Select the affected user's account.

  3. Assign a Primary Brand to the user, then click Save.

Only some recipients are receiving the email

This usually means some recipients are unsubscribed from bulk emails. Verify and update subscription statuses in the contact management section.
