With Vincere Portals you can create multiple job listing pages for different industries, expertise, consultants or brands. You can create a job listing page that’s only specific to a specialism or a job sector.

Click on the link below ⏬ to skip to the section you're interested in:

1/ Adding a new page to your site

1. Open your Dashboard

2. Click the Pages tab on the left-hand side panel

3. Click the blue Create Page button on the right-hand side

a. Content:

  • Title: this should contain the title of your page.

    • Note: Avoid using the same title on more than one page.

  • Permalink: the URL slug and the permalink are automatically generated based on the title you set for your page.

    • Note: the URL slugs tend to be very similar to the title, except when the title contains certain characters like spaces or symbols.

  • Description: this is where you can write the content of your page.

    • Note: use the WYSIWYG editor to compose the description.

Notes: The Title and Description will appear on the page in the main content area in the Customizer.

Click on this link to know more about managing your pages in the dashboard.

Now, head over to the Customizer to edit the page content.

2/ Adding widgets and design on the new job listing page

1/ Head to Job Portal Customizer

2/ Click on the navigation dropdown on the left-hand side and choose the job page you created

3/ Navigate to the ‘Page Content / Main Content’ area of the job page.

Note: On the ‘Page Content / Main Content’ area you will see a Page Widget. This contains the Title and Description you have set up on the Admin dashboard when you created the page. You can disable this widget in this area.

  1. Click the Page widget

  2. Toggle ON the Override Widget so the Page widget is only disabled on the current page and not disbaled on all pages.

  3. Toggle off Enable to disable the widget on the current page

4/ Go to the ‘Widget’ tab, click the plus button to add a new widget.

Look for the Recruitment widget collection.

Choose the Job Faceted Search or Job Search widget and Job Apply widget.

  1. Job Apply - this widget allows candidates to apply for jobs. Always add the Job Apply widget underneath the Job Search / Job Faceted Search widget on the job listing pages so your candidates can apply/register when applying for jobs.

3/ Override mode (Override Widget Settings)

If you have multiple job listing pages - when adding the widget, you need to toggle off the override toggle and set visibility to all the single job pages.

When the Override Mode is OFF, you will see a Visibility setting. Specify the pages you want to add the widget to. This means from the current page, you can add the widget to other pages and configure the widget settings to be applied to the selected pages.

🔥 If you want to add the Job Faceted search to all pages, leave the Visibility setting empty.

4/ Configure the widget settings

In the Job Faceted Search / Job Search widgets, users can configure the filters and listings of the job listing page.

  1. Filters - This refers to the facets on the left hand side for a Job Faceted Search widget. You can show or hide Industry, Expertise, Job Types, Salary Types and Salary.

  2. Listing - This refers to the job details such as title, description, salary, location, etc. You can show or hide these by clicking on the tick box.

Click here to see more details.

5/ Apply a Static Filter

Toggle ON if you want to choose your static filters on your facets. If enabled, your facets will already be pre-selected for your users.

Example: When Static Filter is enabled and has pre-selected criteria for Industry. With this setting, your users won’t be able to select the Industry facet anymore and your job listing will only show jobs that have been tagged to Construction jobs.

Hit the Preview button to see the changes before publishing the page.

When you’re ready, hit Publish.
