How to move Contacts? 🤔

Has your client moved to a new company? No problem, you can update this in the CRM simply by moving your contact.

Here’s what happens when you take this action:

  • All working data including Jobs, Applications, Timesheets, and Placements will be transferred to another Contact inside the old company

  • If the old contact is an approver inside Timetemp, a message will also be sent from TimeTemp to inform the new Contact (Approver) of the change  

  • If the contact is linked to a candidate, the job history of the Candidate will be updated with the new company information as well  

Step 1: Select the Contact and click on ‘Move to new company’ in the actions list.

Step 2: Search for the new company

Simply search the name of the company in the search field and update the fields if applicable.

Note: Please ensure that the new company already exists in Vincere. If it's a brand-new company, please create it first before moving forward.

Step 3: Reassign responsibilities

This is where you choose a Contact to assign responsibility to. All working data including Jobs, Applications, Timesheets, and Placements will be transferred to this selected Contact inside the old company.

What if the company just has one contact?

On Companies with only one contact:
To move a contact who is the only one assigned to a company, a dummy or new contact profile must be created in the company for the reassigning of responsibilities:
