Interviews are a critical stage in the recruitment process, and efficiently managing them can significantly improve your chances of success. In Vincere, setting up interviews is straightforward, offering flexibility and control over the entire process.
This guide will walk you through everything you need to know about setting up and managing interviews in Vincere.
🗝️ Scheduling Interviews: 3 Key Options
When scheduling an interview for a candidate in Vincere, there are three main actions you can take:
⭕ Move a Candidate to the Interview Stage
How to Move the Candidate:
You can easily move a candidate to the 1st Interview Stage either with or without sending a confirmation email.
If you prefer to schedule the interview later, simply create a meeting invitation after moving the candidate to the interview stage.
💡 Best Practice Tip:
For a seamless experience, move the candidate to the 1st Interview Stage first, and then schedule the interview. When prompted to schedule, select No, and proceed with scheduling the interview later by sending an invitation.

⭕ Send Interview Information and Await Confirmation
This option allows you to send an email to the candidate with the interview details and wait for their confirmation.

How It Works:
The system will hold the interview stage until the candidate confirms the interview.
You can also choose to automatically notify the client once the candidate confirms their attendance.
📌 Important Note:
If you choose this option but untick the box to send an email to the candidate, Vincere will not send the confirmation, and the system will wait indefinitely for the candidate’s confirmation. This could prevent you from completing the interview stage.
⭕ Send Interview Information and Confirm Interview
Use this option to send an email to the candidate and immediately confirm the interview, without waiting for their response.
When to Use This 🤩
This is ideal when you’ve already received verbal or email confirmation from the candidate, or you’re confident they can attend the scheduled time.
This action ensures the interview is confirmed in the system without any delays.
⭕ Completing the Interview
After the interview has taken place, it’s essential to complete the interview stage in Vincere:
1. Steps to Complete:
After the interview date, mark the interview as complete.
Add your notes and feedback from the interview for future reference.
2. Rescheduling an Interview:
If the interview is postponed or needs to be rescheduled, click the orange Reschedule button, enter the new time, and update the interview details.
