Manage Company Compliance

Use Company Compliance to control whether users can shortlist or place candidates against a company based on its compliance status.

Written by Jason Tu

Company Compliance lets you mark companies as compliant or non-compliant, restrict shortlisting and placements for non-compliant companies, control who can update compliance status, and display compliance information in the CRM Companies table.

  • For example, you can mark a company as non-compliant until it has completed required processes, such as signing its terms.

āš ļø Important: When you enable Company Compliance, all existing companies are set to Compliant by default. Companies created after you enable the feature are set to Non-compliant by default.

Enable Company Compliance

  1. Go to Settings then select Admin Settings.

  2. Scroll to 14. Compliance Settings then click Edit.

  3. Open the Company tab.

  4. Turn on Company Compliance then click Save.

The Company Compliance field is now available to add to your company layout.

Add Company Compliance to the Company Summary

Add the Company Compliance field to the Company Summary so users can view and, where permitted, update a company's compliance status.

  1. Go to Settings then select Field configuration.

  2. From the menu in the upper-left corner, select Company Summary.

  3. Search for or locate Company Compliance in the available fields.

  4. Drag Company Compliance into the required section of the Company Summary layout.

  5. To reposition the field, hover over it then drag the cross-hair icon to the required location.

  6. Click Save.

šŸ“Œ Note: Users must have the Company Compliance permission to update the field.

Control Who Can Update Company Compliance

Use permissions to specify which users can change a company's compliance status.

  1. Go to Settings then select User management.

  2. Select the required user then open Permissions.

  3. Under CRM then Companies, make sure Allow access is enabled.

  4. Select Company Compliance, and click Save.

Users without the Company Compliance permission can still see the field where applicable, but it is greyed out and cannot be updated.

Shortlist Candidates Using Company Compliance

When Company Compliance is enabled, jobs belonging to non-compliant companies are not available for users to shortlist candidates against.

Companies marked as Compliant can continue to have candidates shortlisted against their jobs.

Place Candidates Using Company Compliance

Companies marked as Compliant allow users to create placements against their jobs as normal.

If a company is marked as Non-compliant, users cannot place candidates against jobs belonging to that company. The placement cannot proceed.

Display Company Compliance in the CRM Companies Table

Add the Compliance column to the CRM Companies table to identify and filter companies by their compliance status.

  1. Go to CRM then Companies.

  2. Open the Columns configuration.

  3. Search for or locate SharedDashboard.SharedColumns.Compliance.

  4. Select the checkbox for SharedDashboard.SharedColumns.Compliance.

  5. Click Save to update your current view, or click Save As to create a new Smart View.

The column appears in the table as Compliance and displays values such as Compliant and Non-compliant.

šŸ“Œ Note: The column currently appears in the column selector as SharedDashboard.SharedColumns.Compliance. This is the system label for the Compliance column.

You can use the Compliance column to identify and filter companies according to their compliance status.
