This article explains when to use Company Admin, how to assign records to it, and how it behaves when a user is deleted. It is useful when a record should not belong to a specific licensed user or when you need a placeholder for ownership or profit split purposes.

⚠️ Important: Company Admin is not a licensed user, so it does not appear in User Management.

Use Company Admin for No-Owner Records and Profit Splits

  1. Open the record you want to update.

  2. Find the relevant owner field, such as Job owner.

  3. Select Company Admin in the owner field.

  4. Save the record.

When you assign a record to Company Admin, the record is treated as a no-owner record and appears under Company Admin in Vincere Intelligence.

When to Use Company Admin

Use Company Admin when:

  • A record does not belong to any particular user.

  • The owner has been removed from the record.

  • The original owner has been deleted from the system.

  • You need a neutral placeholder for ownership reporting.

📌 Note: When a user is deleted from the system, their records are transferred automatically to Company Admin.

Use Company Admin in Profit Splits

  1. Open the record where you need to manage the profit split.

  2. Go to the Profit Split section.

  3. Add or select Company Admin as one of the split parties.

  4. Enter the required share or amount for the split.

  5. Save your changes.

You can use Company Admin in profit splits to represent a non-Vincere user or party.

📌 Note: This is useful when part of the split belongs to someone who is not set up as a licensed user in the system.

Best Practices

  • Use Company Admin only when a record should not sit with a specific licensed user.

  • Review records assigned to Company Admin regularly so they do not remain unowned longer than necessary.

  • Use Company Admin in profit splits only when you need to represent a non-Vincere user or external party.
