⭕ What is Twilio and How Does It Help?

Twilio is a cloud communications platform that allows you to connect with candidates and contacts through SMS. By integrating Twilio with Vincere, you can streamline your communication processes, making it easier to manage candidate relationships directly from within the platform.

🤩 Key Benefits of Twilio

  1. Seamless SMS Communication:

    • Send and receive SMS messages directly from Vincere, allowing for quick and efficient communication with candidates and contacts.

  2. Bulk Messaging:

    • Send SMS in bulk to groups, making it easier to communicate important updates or notifications to multiple candidates or contacts simultaneously.

  3. Custom Messaging Templates:

    • Customize and use messaging templates with wildcards for personalization, ensuring your messages are both professional and tailored to the recipient.

  4. SMS Notifications:

    • Receive email notifications when you get an SMS, keeping you informed and responsive.

  5. Character Count Monitoring:

    • View the character count when sending messages, helping you manage SMS length and avoid splitting messages.

⭕ How to Set Up Twilio in Vincere

  1. Navigate to Settings > click on Marketplace > Find and click on Twilio.

  2. Enable Twilio: In the Setup tab, toggle the switch to enable Twilio.

  3. Enter Twilio Account Details:

    • Account SID: Enter your Twilio Account SID.

    • Auth Token: Enter your Twilio Auth Token.

  4. Once you’ve entered all the details, click Save to finalize the setup. You’re now ready to start using Twilio for SMS communication.

⭕ Using Twilio in Vincere

1. Send SMS Messages: To send an SMS, select a candidate or contact, click Actions > Send SMS, and compose your message.

2. Send Bulk SMS Messages: For bulk messaging, select multiple candidates or contacts, and choose Send Bulk Messages. The Communication Hub will pop up, allowing you to select a message template and send the message to all selected recipients.

📌 Note: Please note that you're just able to send 100 records maximum at a time with SMS Action by Twilio.

💡 Quick Tip

Save time by using the Advanced Search table view to select and process up to 100 records at a time to send SMS via Twilio. Here’s how:

  1. Navigate to Advanced Search

  2. At the bottom of the screen, change Items per Page from 25 to 100.

  3. Select All records, then click Send SMS.

  4. After completing each batch, go to the next page and repeat the process.

Using this tip can help you streamline your workflow and speed up tasks significantly!

3. Customize SMS Templates: Create custom SMS templates by navigating to Settings > Message Templates. These templates can include wildcards for personalization.

4. Filter SMS in Communication Hub: You can filter your SMS messages in the Communication Hub by:

  • All: View all messages.

  • My Sent: See all sent messages.

  • Response: View messages or chats that you follow.

  • My Message: Shows messages you send, receive, and follow.

  • Time Period: Filter by today, this week, or all time.

5. Message Storage:

  • All SMS messages sent from Vincere are stored in the Communication Hub, located in the top right corner of the Vincere screen between the blue + button and System Notifications.

📝 Important Notes:

  • Phone Number Formatting: Ensure that phone numbers are formatted according to E.164 standards to guarantee message deliverability. Learn more about E.164 formatting here.
