Create custom wildcards to use in your Document Builder templates

You can seamlessly use custom fields from candidates, contacts, companies, and jobs as wildcards within Vincere's Document Builder, allowing you to personalize and automate your document creation process.

⭕ How to Create a Custom Field Wildcard

  1. Navigate to Field Configuration:

    • Go to Settings > Field Configuration.

    • Select the appropriate field type (candidate, contact, company, or job).

  2. Enable the Wildcard:

    • Scroll down to the created field.

    • Check the box to enable the wildcard.

  3. Input Wildcard Details:

    • Provide the Wildcard Title and the Field Name.

    • Input a key for the wildcard. This key will act as a unique variable (no need to include # in the key name).

⭕ How to Use a Custom Field Wildcard in a Template

  1. Access Custom Wildcards:

    • In the Document Builder, a new tab labeled Custom will appear in the wildcard area once custom wildcards are enabled.

  2. Search and Insert:

    • Use the search bar to find your custom wildcard.

    • Click on the wildcard to insert it into your document.

📌 Important Note

You can create a maximum of 50 wildcards.
