This article explains how and when you can undo or remove a candidate's application, depending on the stage they are in within the recruitment pipeline.

⭕ Step-by-Step Guidance

Remove Application (From Shortlisted to Interview Stage)

  1. Navigate to the Job Profile.

  2. Select the candidate listed in the Shortlisted or Interview stage.

  3. Click on the action list and select Remove Application.

👉 Note: You will not see the option to remove the application if:

  • The candidate applied via a job board.

  • The application has already passed the Interview stage.

Undo Offer (Offer Stage)

  1. Go to the Job’s pipeline and click the amber-colored number under the Offer stage.

  2. A list of applications in this stage will appear.

  3. Select the application you want to undo.

  4. Click on the action list and choose Undo Offer.

Undo Placement (Placed Stage)

  1. Click the amber-colored number in the Placed stage of the pipeline.

  2. View all applications currently placed.

  3. Select the application you want to undo.

  4. Click on the action list and choose Undo Placement.

👉 Note: You can only undo placements if:

  • The status is Starting, or the start date has not yet occurred.

⭕ What Happens When You Undo a Placement

  • The contract is deleted from TimeTemp.

  • All Manager, Employee, and Recruiter accounts linked to the job in TimeTemp are removed.

  • Any unsubmitted timesheets are deleted.

  • Draft invoices related to the placement are permanently deleted.

  • A warning message will be shown before any deletion of invoices.

👉 Important:

  • Once a placement is active or has started, it cannot be undone.

  • If invoices are in Approved status, the undo action will not be allowed.

  • Deleted invoices cannot be recovered.

  • Always double-check the candidate’s stage before removing or undoing their application.

  • Review all warning messages carefully before confirming an undo action.

  • Use the undo feature responsibly to maintain accurate records and avoid data loss.

  • Only authorized users should perform undo actions to avoid accidental deletions

Q1: Can I remove an application that came through a job board?

  • Answer: No, the option to remove the application is disabled for candidates who applied via a job board.

Q2: Can I undo a placement after the start date has passed?

  • Answer: No, once the placement is active or past the start date, it cannot be undone.

Q3: What happens to invoices when I undo a placement?

  • Answer: Draft invoices will be deleted, but if any invoices are in Approved status, the undo will not be allowed.

Q4: Is it possible to recover deleted invoices or timesheets?

  • Answer: No, deleted invoices and timesheets cannot be recovered. Always review warnings before proceeding.
