Add a Company

Learn how to create a company record, complete the main company details, avoid duplicate records, and save the new company profile.

This article explains how to add a company from Quick Add so you can link contacts and jobs to the correct organisation. Adding complete company information also improves searchability and helps keep your database accurate.

πŸ“Œ Note: Companies created quickly during candidate creation do not show in the Company table view because a company must have an ID.


Add a Company

Open Quick Add

  1. Click the Actions + button next to the search bar, then select Company.

  2. Enter the company name in Company Name.

  3. Review the matching companies shown as you type, then select an existing record if the company is already in the system.

  4. Complete the required fields shown in the form, such as Company Name, Company Address, and Industry.Add any other relevant details:

    • Such as Sub Industry, Website, LinkedIn Profile URL, Switchboard, Parent Company, Company Owners, Note, and Brands.

  5. Add as much information as possible so the company record is easier to search and use later.

  6. Click Save to create the company record.

  7. Click Save & View to create the company record, then open the new company profile.

πŸ“Œ Note: If you try to add a company that already exists in the system, you cannot save the new record. This helps prevent duplicates and keeps the database accurate.

All contacts and jobs must be associated with a company. ThFe more complete the company record is, the easier it is to search for the right organisation and manage recruitment activity accurately.

  • Add as much company information as possible when you create the record.

  • Review the matching company list before saving so you do not create duplicate records.

  • Keep company details complete and accurate to improve search results across the system.
