How to Geotag Locations in Vincere? 📍

To geotag locations in Vincere, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the record you'd like to geotag (Candidates, Jobs, Contacts, or Companies).

  2. Click on the location field and enter the location you want to geotag.

    • This can range from broad locations like "Madrid, Spain" to specific postcodes.

  3. You can also move the pin around the Google map, and the system will auto-update the address accordingly.

    • Note: All location suggestions are sourced from the Google Maps API.

⛔️IMPORTANT

  1. When geotagging jobs, the mandatory 'Location name' field is what syncs across to your Instant Job Board/website - All other fields are internal only.

👉 Ensure you don't include the exact address in the 'Location name' field. We recommend keeping it generic, such as "London HQ" as shown in the example below:

The Power of Geotagged Records

Once your data is geotagged, it enhances the functionality of your Vincere search:

  • Head over to search and run a radius search for all candidates located within a specific distance (e.g., 15 km) from a location like London.

  • View your results in a table view or a Google map view.

  • Access details of candidates such as CVs.

  • Use Google’s street view tool to place yourself in the candidate’s location virtually. Super cool, right? 😎

📂 Additional Features:

  • You can use radius search for Jobs, Contacts, Candidates and Companies.

  • The "Show search result in map view" option is only available for candidate radius searches.

To track if Jobs, Contacts, Candidates, or Companies have geotagged yet just add the 'Google Maps' column in its table view.

📌 The location field you should geotag in the Candidate's profile for the column to display as mapped is the Current Address

  • So now you can filter Mapped or Not Mapped to have a check.
